Micah Cost, PharmD, MS
Brief Bio : Dr. Cost has been the Executive Director of the Tennessee Pharmacists Association since January 1, 2015. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Lipscomb University and earned his PharmD at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy. Dr. Cost also earned a post-graduate Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Health Policy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. Dr. Cost originally joined TPA in 2008 as the Executive Resident in Association Management and Health Policy, after which he served as the Director of Professional Affairs for TPA until taking his current position. Dr. Cost has taught hundreds of pharmacists and student pharmacists in the practice areas of pharmacy-based immunization delivery, diabetes care, and medication therapy management, among others. Dr. Cost currently resides in Thompson Station, TN with his wife of ten years, Kyle.
